These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of the Urbanly iOS application ("Urbanly", "the App", "we", "us", or "our").
By installing, accessing, or using Urbanly, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.
If you do not agree with these Terms, please discontinue use of the App.
Urbanly is an offline city-sketch journal and fictional local community experience. The App allows you to:
Urbanly is designed primarily as a local-first application. It does not require an online account for its core features.
Your personal profile, sketches, favorites, notes, and other locally created content are primarily stored on your iPhone.
Urbanly does not promise cloud synchronization, online account recovery, or server-side backup of your personal sketch archive.
The community experience within Urbanly may include fictional profiles, usernames, avatars, posts, notes, comments, conversations, and simulated activity.
These materials are provided for creative context and inspiration. They are not necessarily associated with real individuals.
Simulated conversations do not constitute real-time communication. Urbanly is not a live social network and does not represent that fictional profiles are real users currently interacting with you.
You may create content within Urbanly, including photographs, captions, descriptions, city tags, dates, notes, favorites, and voice recordings.
You are responsible for the content you create, store, export, or share.
You must have the necessary rights and permissions to use any photographs, recordings, text, artwork, or other material that you add to the App.
You may not use Urbanly to create, store, export, or share content that:
Urbanly may apply local filtering to user-authored text to help identify certain objectionable or inappropriate language.
This filtering is provided as an assistance mechanism and does not guarantee that all prohibited or objectionable content will be detected.
Urbanly provides a reporting feature for managing fictional community content.
You may report sketches, notes, or simulated conversations where the reporting function is available.
Reported content may be hidden immediately on your device. Because Urbanly does not operate a live social network, reporting primarily affects the local content experience on your device.
You may block fictional profiles within the App.
Blocked profiles and related content may be hidden from your local browsing experience until you choose to unblock them.
Blocked profiles can be managed through the App's Me → Blocked Profiles section.
Urbanly requests access to your camera, Photos library, and microphone only when you choose to use features requiring those permissions.
You may deny any of these permissions. Features requiring the corresponding permission may then be unavailable, while other features can continue to function.
Notifications are optional. If enabled, Urbanly may provide local reminders related to simulated activity or other reminders configured within the App.
Notifications do not represent real-time messages from actual users. Urbanly does not provide live social messaging through notifications.
Urbanly may use advertising or advertising attribution technologies. Where applicable, Urbanly may request authorization through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework.
Tracking authorization is not required for the core offline sketch features. You may decline the request.
If you decline tracking authorization, certain advertising attribution or measurement capabilities may be limited.
Urbanly provides a Gallery Poster feature that allows you to create poster-style visual compositions from your sketches.
The first Gallery Poster export is free. Additional Gallery Poster exports may require Points.
You may be able to save generated posters to your Photos library or share them using Apple's system sharing functionality.
Points are optional virtual consumable units used for eligible additional Gallery Poster exports and other designated in-app functionality.
Points do not represent cash, currency, deposits, securities, or other real-world monetary assets.
Unless otherwise required by applicable law, Points cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred to another user.
Urbanly offers consumable Points through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system. There is no subscription associated with Points.

Actual products, prices, currencies, taxes, and availability are determined by the App Store for your region.
Because Points are consumable purchases, Points that have already been consumed are not restored.
Payments for Points are processed by Apple through the App Store.
Urbanly does not directly process or store your complete payment card information.
Your purchase may also be subject to Apple's applicable terms, policies, and refund procedures.
Urbanly may provide system-based export and sharing functionality.
When you voluntarily export or share content, you are responsible for selecting the destination and reviewing the permissions and policies of the destination service.
Once content is shared outside Urbanly, the receiving service may process that content according to its own terms and privacy practices.
Subject to applicable law, you retain your rights in content that you create and store using Urbanly.
Using Urbanly does not transfer ownership of your photographs, sketches, notes, recordings, or other original content to us.
You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not infringe the rights of others.
Urbanly's software, interface, branding, original visual elements, graphics, text, and other application materials are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
Except where permitted by law or expressly authorized by us, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or commercially exploit the App or its protected materials.
Urbanly is a local-first application and does not provide guaranteed cloud backup of your personal archive.
Deleting the App, resetting your device, losing your device, experiencing device failure, or otherwise losing local application storage may permanently remove your locally stored content.
You are responsible for exporting or otherwise backing up important content using available system features when appropriate.
Urbanly may rely on Apple-provided technologies and services, including the App Store, StoreKit, Photos, Camera, Microphone, Notifications, and App Tracking Transparency.
Third-party services are independently operated and may be subject to their own terms and policies.
We will make reasonable efforts to keep Urbanly functional, but we do not guarantee that the App will always be available, error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every device or future version of iOS.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for product, security, technical, legal, or operational reasons.
Urbanly is provided as a personal creative journaling and entertainment tool. Fictional community content, simulated conversations, city information, and other illustrative content should not be treated as professional advice, verified factual statements, or real-world communications.
You are responsible for evaluating information before relying on it for any real-world purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Urbanly and its operators will not be responsible for losses arising from your misuse of the App, your voluntary sharing of content, third-party services, device failures, or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable law.
If we reasonably believe that you have violated these Terms, applicable law, or relevant Apple platform requirements, we may restrict or discontinue access to affected functionality to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Because Urbanly is primarily offline, certain content-management controls may operate locally on your device.
If you obtain Urbanly through Apple's App Store, these Terms apply in addition to any applicable Apple terms and requirements.
Apple is responsible for processing App Store transactions and providing the applicable App Store infrastructure.
Where mandatory Apple platform requirements conflict with these Terms, the applicable Apple requirements will apply to the extent required.
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes to the App, applicable law, or our services.
Updated Terms will display a revised "Last Updated" date. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain appropriate consent.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
